Electrical equipment should be kept clean regularly to prevent oil, water, and dust from entering.
When a circuit short occurs, the fuse of the same capacity should be replaced. Tin-silver wire can be used, but copper wire is not recommended as a substitute.
Rotary motors use rolling bearings, which should be cleaned (with kerosene or diesel) and have their grease replaced every month. Gears, sprockets, and other components should be thoroughly wiped clean of oil and grime before shutting down for the day, then lubricated with fresh oil.
When motors and electrical appliances have been left unused for an extended period—more than one month—during the humid season and are being put back into operation, their insulation should be thoroughly rechecked. Additionally, dehumidification treatment is essential: run the motor at one-third of its rated voltage for 48 hours to gradually remove moisture, before finally operating it at full voltage to ensure safe performance.
Please ensure that the mechanical grounding is in good condition. If there is oil or rust on the surface of the grounding screw, it should be cleaned promptly.
