For sponge cutting machines to be more durable and long-lasting, in addition to mastering the correct operating methods, regular maintenance and upkeep are also essential.
1. Each working day, it is essential to inspect and remove dust, cleaning away dirt from the machine tool and its guideways to keep the machine bed clean and well-maintained. At the end of the shift, be sure to shut off the air and power sources, and also drain any remaining air from the machine tool’s tubing and hoses.
2. If the machine will be left unattended for an extended period, turn off the power to prevent unauthorized operation by non-professionals.
3. Regular and unscheduled inspections should be conducted on the rotating parts of the cutting tool, while wear-and-tear components require real-time monitoring and periodic replacement.
4. Operators should receive appropriate training to enhance their technical skills and work quality. Additionally, the CNC sponge cutting machine must be operated exclusively by trained personnel; unauthorized individuals are strictly prohibited from operating it on their own.
